OSHA Recordkeeping Deadline is February 1.
As a reminder, all non-exempt workplaces covered by OSHA’s Recordkeeping Rule, 29 CFR 1904, are required to have OSHA Form 300A, the Summary of Work-Related Injuries and Illnesses, posted in a prominent location where employees can clearly see it beginning Feb. 1 through April 30 — even if no work-related injuries or illnesses occurred during the year.
If you’re not certain whether your company is exempt, reference sections 1904.1 and 1904.2 of the standard, review OSHA’s list of partially exempt industries, or contact your local OSHA office for guidance. Sign up for our Recordkeeping Resource Center for more information.
